Becoming an organ, eye, and tissue donor is easy. Most states allow you to register online, or you can select to be a donor when you apply for or renew your driver’s license, state identification card, or learner’s permit. Further, you can discuss your wishes in more detail through your Living Will and Life Sustaining Treatment Options documents.
South Dakota
You can register online, by mail, or at your local DMV to be an organ, eye, and tissue donor. You will need your driver’s license and your social security number to register. Click here to register through the South Dakota Department of Public Safety’s website.
Nebraska
You can register online or at your local NDDOT to be an organ, eye, and tissue donor. You will need your driver’s license and your social security number to register. Click here to register through the the Nebraska Donor Registry.
Minnesota
You can register online, by mail, or at your local DVS to be an organ, eye, and tissue donor. You will need your driver’s license number and your social security number to register.
