Ryder was raised in Warner, South Dakota, where he learned the importance of hard work, integrity, and supporting those around you. After graduating from Northern State University in Aberdeen, Ryder went on to earn his law degree from the University of Dayton School of Law in Ohio, where he gained the knowledge and skills necessary to serve clients effectively.
During law school, he completed an externship with Thompson Law, PLLC. That experience gave him first-hand insight into the firm’s dedication to client service and prepared him to excel in the next step of his career as an attorney. Today, his practice focuses on estate planning and business law, where he is committed to helping individuals and businesses plan for their future with confidence and clarity.
Ryder is licensed to practice law in South Dakota.
He is grateful to share the journey with his high school sweetheart, Keeley. The values they share such as commitment, trust, and community are the same values he brings to his work at Thompson Law, PLLC, as he builds lasting relationships with the people he serves.
When he is not in the office, he enjoys golfing, bowling, watching football, and playing in a local basketball league. These activities keep him active and grounded, while also giving him the chance to stay connected with the community that means so much to him.
